The kallax ball is blended slightly differently from the The Original Lubao as we have gathered feedbacks from different renowned breeders in Europe and US on the requirement.

The Kallax ball is specially blended and adjusted to suit breeders with high-quality shrimps. It too encourages breeding and improves biofilm production. The method to use them is similar to that of Lubao. There is a need to soak them a minimum of 3 days in RO water and the water in the soaking container/tub need to be changed daily. The soaking period removes tannin and kick-start the biofilm production and with the new formula, it is suitable even for a pair of shrimps (i have tested them extensively). Shrimplets will certainly love to have the new kallax ball as it improves the survivability of shrimplets. The ball can be used for 30 days.

Detailed instructions for use:

• Place the Kallax ball in a container or glass and fill with RO water. (Tap water is also acceptable)
• Let the Kallax ball soak for 2-3 days or until white fuzz appears.
• Replace the water daily while soaking your Kallax to avoid it becoming foul.
• Do not rinse your Kallax ball off when transferring it to your tank. The white fuzziness of it is normal biofilm.
• Monitor your Kallax ball in your tank and remove after 21-30 days.

Due to the fermentation process, the Kallax ball will have a strong smell to it. The Kallax ball might also produce small bubbles while in your tank, this is perfectly normal and means that the ball is still working.

Its recommended to put the Kallax ball on a feeding dish where possible for best results.
